Working at height

Height Safety

Work at Height is a common practice in the UK but one fraught with potential risk. Always carry out a valid risk assessment prior to undertaking any work at height. During the risk assessment it will identify potential hazards and a qualified expert will then look at methods of reducing the risk by introducing control measures. There are many different methods of reducing risk and it is always advisable to seek advice prior to purchasing equipment.

All equipment should be suitable for the task ahead and there MUST be sufficient quantities for all members of the team involved in the task. Remember the cheapest isn't always the best.
