Product Description

Details

The GFG G460 Multi-Gas Detector for IR C02, VOCs, LEL, CO, H2S and O2 is as tough and functional as it looks and offers a full 3 year warranty.

The product comes equipped with a "clip on" ATEX pump c/w probe and 1m of tubing.

A rugged housing IP67 (dust & water resistant) provides unsurpassed durability, including the ability to withstand a 6 metre drop onto concrete.

The GFG G460 sensor configuration is 0-5% IR CO2, 0-100% LEL, 0-25% O2, 0-2000ppm Isobutylene (VOC), 0-500ppm CO and 0-100ppm H2S.

With large glove-friendly buttons and a high contrast display, the GFG G460 Multi-Gas Detector is easy to operate in any work environment, even in low light conditions.

PID Detector

Photoionization detector (PID) equipped instruments are increasingly viewed as the best choice for measurement of VOCs at exposure limit concentrations.  Familiar substances containing VOCs include solvents, paint thinner and nail polish remover, as well as the vapors associated with fuels such as gasoline, diesel, heating oil, kerosene and jet fuel. The category also includes many specific toxic substances such as benzene, butadiene, hexane, toluene, xylene, and many others.  Most VOC vapors are flammable at surprisingly low concentrations.  For most VOCs, however, the toxic exposure limit is exceeded long before readings reach a concentration high enough to trigger a combustible range alarm.

New state of the art sensors drive the most advanced portable gas detector available in the market
• Typical sensor life greater than four years
• Lower cost ownership
• Fewer sensor replacements
• Shorter calibration and bump test times

Performance and Durability of the GFG G460 is further enhanced by:
• Unique alarm features: Colour coded alarms
• End-of-sensor-life indicator eliminates services outages
• Passes 6 metre drop test
• IP67 rating (dust tight and water tight)
